Setting Up Your News Preferences
Customize your Regulatory Watch feed to show only what matters for your practice.
By default, Regulatory Watch shows a broad feed of legal news. To make it genuinely useful for your daily work, take a few minutes to configure your preferences — this shapes both your news feed and your email digest.
Accessing preferences
There are two ways to access news preferences:
- From the news feed (/legal-news), click Preferences in the top-right area of the screen
- Navigate directly to /legal-news/preferences
Selecting news categories
Choose the legal categories relevant to your practice. You can select multiple categories — for example, a corporate lawyer might select Commercial Law, Finance, and Corporate Governance, while an employment lawyer would focus on Labor Law and Employment.
Only news matching your selected categories will appear in your personalized feed. Unselected categories are still accessible via manual filtering on the news screen.

Choosing countries of interest
Select the jurisdictions you want to monitor. Available countries include UAE, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, and other covered jurisdictions. You can select multiple countries to monitor cross-border developments.
Setting your digest frequency
The digest is an email summary of the most important legal news matching your preferences. Choose how often you want to receive it:
- Daily — Receive a digest every morning with the previous day's key updates. Best for fast-moving practice areas like regulatory compliance or financial law.
- Weekly — Receive a digest every Monday morning covering the past week. A good default for most legal professionals.
- Monthly — Receive a digest on the first of each month. Best for lower-frequency monitoring or broader legal awareness.
Language preference
Choose your preferred language for news articles and the email digest:
- French (FR) — News in French, AI summaries in French
- Arabic (AR) — News in Arabic, summaries in Arabic
- English (EN) — English-language sources, summaries in English
Note that source availability varies by language — English content is most available for GCC and Africa international law; French dominates for Morocco, Burkina Faso, and North Africa.
Saving your preferences
Click Save Preferences to apply your settings. Your news feed will update immediately to reflect your choices. Digest emails will begin on the next scheduled send based on your selected frequency.
You can update your preferences at any time — there's no limit to how often you can change them. If you're working on a specific matter, temporarily add the relevant category to your preferences while the matter is active.
