Bookmarks & Digests
Save articles for later and receive curated legal news in your inbox.
Regulatory Watch gives you two ways to hold onto legal news that matters: bookmarks for saving individual articles, and digests for receiving a curated summary in your inbox on a schedule you choose.
Bookmarking articles
Any article in your news feed can be bookmarked for later reading. To bookmark an article:
- From the news feed — hover over an article card and click the bookmark icon that appears in the top-right corner of the card
- From an open article — click the bookmark icon in the article header
Bookmarking is instant — no confirmation required. The icon turns gold to indicate the article is saved.
Accessing your bookmarks
Your bookmarked articles are collected in the Bookmarks tab on the news screen (/legal-news). The tab shows all saved articles in reverse chronological order (most recently bookmarked first).
Bookmarks are personal to your account — they're not shared with colleagues, even if they have access to the same contracts or conversations.
Removing bookmarks
To remove an article from your bookmarks, click the (now gold) bookmark icon again on the article card or within the open article. The article is removed from your bookmarks immediately.
Email digests
In addition to browsing the news feed in the app, you can receive a curated digest by email. The digest summarizes the most important legal news from the past period based on your preferences.
How digests work
At the scheduled time (daily, weekly, or monthly — based on your preferences), Lawis compiles the top legal news articles matching your selected categories and jurisdictions. Each article in the digest includes:
- A headline and source
- An AI-generated summary in your chosen language
- A link to read the full article in the app
Changing digest frequency
Update your digest frequency at any time from the preferences screen (/legal-news/preferences). Changes take effect on the next scheduled send.
Unsubscribing from digests
To stop receiving digest emails, go to preferences and set digest frequency to None, or click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any digest email. Unsubscribing from digests does not affect your news feed in the app.
Many legal professionals bookmark articles they encounter during the week, then review their bookmarks at the end of the week alongside the weekly digest. This gives you both real-time awareness and a structured review session.
